In animal aid, we always want to provide the best possible services to our members and supporters. In general, it involves providing them with whatever literature is requested, and accepting whatever financial or active support offers.
However, in the case of children, or adults who can be in a weak situation or need additional care and help, we do not always do what is requested. Due to weak conditions, for example, learning difficulties or dementia, or temporary conditions can be caused by mourning. For example, we do not send children or adults to reflux tickets, appeal mailing or graphic literature that may be in weak conditions or require additional care and help.
If such a person calls us and wants to donate, may add additional help: delay the gift acceptance of the donor to give more time to give their donation; If the donor changes their brain, then the ‘cooling off’ period. Or suggesting gives a donor consultation with family or friends.
If anyone increases their donations or the price or price, and we do not know why, we will contact them so that they can find out that they have not mistakenly paid much money.
If someone donates and we later find out that they are in a weak situation and they lack the ability to make a donation, we will return the donation. In addition, we usually return the donation at the request, and without the time limit.
If a third party contacts us about a supporter, and tells us that they are weak, and we, for example, should not send them more literature, then we have their names and contacts with the third party. Ask for details, its nature weakness, and whether they have a power of attorney (we do not insist on evidence at this stage). We will record the Database Conversation/Letter/Email details, including the third party name and contact details.
Generally, we will assume that the third party is able to make decisions from this individual, and we will make as a third party request (even if they say they have a power of attorney). However, we will indicate that if that person contacts us, we can resume mailing, look good in front of us and ask us to resume. If they want to eliminate this possibility in advance, then they will have to send us proof of the Power of Attorney.
If they send us proof of the Power of Attorney, then it resolves the matter.
Otherwise, if the supporter then contacts us and asks us to send them/donate, and if the supporter demonstrates a steady mind in front of us we will do what they will request – If they do not appear in the mind, we will continue to do what the third party asked us to do.
