Emergency measures saved cows
The fire department received a call about the falling floor around noon. The situation was critical, about 40 cows were stuck in fertilizer, some were struggling to keep their heads above the surface.
Firefighters put the grass bangs on the sides of the pit so that an inclined level could be created. Many cows came out of it themselves. Some cows needed to be lifted.
The immediate action was very important, as the cow was at risk of breathing or sinking with poisonous fertilizers.
Investigation is underway.
It is not known how the floor fell. The provincial political organization ‘Party for the Animals’ has submitted questions about the incident. They want to know how such accidents can be stopped in the future.
