“Sit down.” “Stay.” Many dogs understand and respond accordingly. But what will happen to more complicated requests, such as bringing a particular item. Many of our dogs will do this, but they, of course, are they taking action on this request? Do they make a mental picture in their minds by hearing the name of an item? Doing so will suggest a deep grip of the language, as humans have.
A new research suggests that dogs can associate words with specific items
A new research outside Hungary says that exactly what is happening. Researchers found that dogs can learn to connect words with specific items. Which is called ‘Refrain understanding’, which was still incompetent in the scientific studies of dogs.
“When we are talking about items, the items are the outer of the dogs, and dogs have to learn that the words refer to, they stand for something that is external to them.” The Budapest was organized by the Ethics Department of Ethos Lovland.
“Researchers found that dogs can learn to connect words with specific items.
How did the study work
Peer reviewer study, which appeared in the scientific journal in March Current organisms, There are 18 dogs. The owners of the co -dog played an audio clip, saying it was the name of their dog toys and then showed the dog a thing. Sometimes the word and the image were similar, and the second time they did not. A non -invasive EEG procedure using the electrode attached to dogs heads measures mental activity and registered brain waves.
Results (dogs are amazing)
“We expected that if a dog really understands the meaning of the word, he will expect to look at it. And if the owner shows different, there will be amazing reaction in the brain. “And that’s exactly what we got.”
When dogs were shown an item that is similar to the word, a different pattern of the brain was seen when it was not confronted, which was suggested that the cans were based on listening to its word. The mental image of this item is created.
Leela Magyani, a scholarly scientist and co -leader of the study, has noted that other animals have shown some references to the language, but in these cases, animals were trained to do so.
On the other hand, dogs are easily qualified without training, perhaps due to our 30,000 years of collaboration. More proof of how amazing our Kaiyan friends are!
