Our 39-acre Southern California sanctuary is located on a beautiful hacienda ranch in Acton, just 45 minutes from Hollywood.
When you visit Farm Sanctuary’s Southern California sanctuary, you immediately You will know that this is a special place. Cows, pigs, chickens, chickens and other farm animals have been rescued in our shelters. And each one has a special story. Their stories of struggle and survival, against all odds, give us insight into the realities faced by farm animals in the modern food system and introduce us to inspiring individuals through their heart-wrenching stories. Do it. Animals that started their lives neglected, now spend their days digging in the dirt, basking in baskets and straw in the sun. Each animal is given the freedom and attention it needs not only to recover but to thrive.
During your visit to our sanctuary, you can take an hour-long hike with one of our sanctuary guides, and meet our rescued residents along the way! After meeting our farm animal friends, visit our shelter shop, which features educational literature, books, apparel and other gifts.
