Moving with Cats: Ivy’s Tips for Stress-Free Relocation

Welcome to the cat’s catster! Each week, we share one of our cat -loving cattle. This week, the crystal and its soul are about the cat, Ivy.

Hi Kitters!

The last time we spoke, I touched the terrible F -word: Puso! I hope that everyone who reads this story then examines his cat for the flea, or at least reminds the importance of being in accordance with the flea’s medicines.

This week, we’re talking about moving! I will share a couple of things that really Ivy – and provided me with help.

After living in our first complex for about a year, we decided that the time is now to move. After searching, calling and emailing too much with agents, we finally got the perfect fit! A small hidden essence of a complex, with greenery, gardens and trees all around.

The moving preparation was completely, and on the go, I reached much faster than that. I was very nervous about how Ivy would handle the move – it was my first time when I was walking with it and asking the truth, I didn’t really know what to do or where to make sure The transition will be easier. Her

Fortunately, Kitster has a ton of resources with the points to move with your cat, and when I really talked about easily preparing and setting my mind, they really helped.

There were some things we did that I think it has made a big difference between keeping it calm and making the situation the best.

1. Keep yourself calm

Let’s face it: There is pressure to move. And wow, I was pressing! I was pressured about dynamic preparations, original motion and movement. However, I tried my best to be calm, stick to my regular routine, and work so that it was not a big deal that all our things were basically in the boxes that move to their new destination. Were ready. I guess I did a good job of staying calm – don’t ask anyone else, though!

All these boxes… for me?!

2. Calm collar

I was very skeptical on calm callers – for any reason, I was just! However, I decided to buy one anyway. There is definitely no real way to tell, but I think the calm caller has made a difference. When we started packing, I put a calm caller a few days before the move.

As we all know, most cats can realize when change is coming, and basically our entire house is tied to boxes, I am sure they will know that something is gone. With the caller on, it seemed that she had no care in the world, and of course, she loves all boxes!

The calm collar also helped in the original move. Generally, she hates being in a career and being in a car, because she usually means going to a terrifying veterinarian. But he was surprisingly cool to hit these two things-fortunately, it was just a 30-minute short drive.

3. Creating a secure room

We had two bedrooms in the new town house, and we made it a comfortable and safe place in a room with all its things. His cat tree, dirt box, toys, food cups and scratches were kept in the room before its arrival. We kept it in the room until all our things were in the house and not all the strangers were out of the house!

4. Allowing him to discover

When the end of the very long dynamic day was finally ended, it was time to find out his new place! His curiosity was at a height at all times, which was discovered by new noises and cranes and rooms. I wondered what she was thinking. The views coming from the windows were different, the house setting was different, okay, Everything Was different! After a few days, we moved his items to his new designated locations. We also ensured something with its scent in every room. In my mind, she will feel as if she was there before.

5. Staying on a regular routine

We made sure that it was still fed simultaneously and treated our cat tree every morning. In my view, this process made it even easier, the fact that I have to work at home. In essence, nothing but the place we were.

Although these things have helped and helped us a lot, but I also think he is a very composed. She was not hiding herself, or not uncertain. He was his usual, confident self. Within a few days, she was running around the house as if she had owned it, and it seemed as if she had been there for his entire life.

All I just got!
All I just got!

Ivy really surprised me and honestly forced me to think with myself, if she could move, move, move, and settled within a few days, why not I Can Instead of helping me in this move and adjustment period, he helped me even more.

Our running experience is not as pressure as I have read or heard about others, and for that, I’m very grateful!

I am interested to know: If you can give someone a piece of advice about how to move with a cat, what would it be?
