Our Nine Animals in Harm™ program, the leading industry-recognized effort with animal monitoring in filmed entertainment, has made the protection of animal performers our mission for more than 80 years. Our certification is the trusted standard for the humane treatment of animals in film and television, recognized internationally by filmmakers, TV producers and the viewing public as the right humane treatment of animals on set. But expect and demand them.
The program follows comprehensive guidelines specific to each animal species. Guidelines It was regularly updated by our scientific advisory committee of independent experts in animal science, behavior, veterinary medicine and ethics.
Our work begins long before filming begins. We review scripts, consult during pre-production, inspect filming locations and monitor sets by our trained animal welfare representatives who uphold our science-based standards. .
