The Cincinnati Zoo has a zero-tolerance bullying policy. Visitors are not allowed any abusive/offensive/discriminatory language, and no violence towards our staff or fellow guests, plants and animals.
No smoking or vaping! The Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Garden is a smoke-free environment with questions or to report violations by calling 1-866-559-OHIO.
The zoo does not allow any firearms to be brought onto the grounds, regardless of whether the individual has a concealed/carry permit.
Do not feed animals or disturb any plants. Skates, skates, heels, hoverboards, skateboards, roller blades, scooters and portable radios are not permitted on Zoo grounds. Please stay on the roads. Pets are not allowed on zoo grounds even if left inside vehicles. Shirts and shoes should be worn at all times. Since the park is open during inclement weather, there are no zoo returns or rain fees. Due to the different needs of the animals, some buildings or exhibits may close early. All visitors permit the Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Garden to use their likeness, or that of their children, in advertising, publicity and other promotions to visitors without payment or compensation.
Photo and Video Policies
Commercial use of photographs, video and film taken at the Cincinnati Zoo is strictly prohibited without the express written consent of the Zoo. Feel free to share photos with family and friends using #cincyzoopic!
Location Filming Guidelines: Film crew should be contacted [email protected] To set up their video shoot in advance and pay a fee to shoot on location.
For the safety of our visitors and animals, drones are not permitted on or above the Cincinnati Zoo.
