I am thrilled to be a speaker at the 2025 Dog and City Conference. It takes place in Toronto, Canada from September 26 to September 28, 2025.

My talk is titled Helping Dogs Thrive in the City and it’s on Saturday.
I am also very excited about the other speakers. Tom Candy talks about thriving together: Helping dogs in tough urban environments (and yes, that means there will be some shelters!) meanwhile Milena De Martini talks about City Dogs, Quiet Homes: Strategies for Successful Separation Anxiety Resolution.
The Dogs and the City conference is a little unusual in that you get to spend a whole day with each speaker. I think it’s really special and I’m really looking forward to it.
They also have an exciting new location for this year’s conference, as it is at the Society Clubhouse on College St., Toronto.
The conference is organized by Advocine in partnership with the Canadian Association of Professional Dog Trainers. This means CAPDT members get a 10% discount on their ticket.
