We can not carry chairs or walkers with cattle or pigs to protect animals, guests and staff. Residents can be very interesting, which can lead to dangerous situation. Our staff will do their best to simplify the livestock and pig dialogue at the fence or gate, though we cannot guarantee that the animals will talk.
We cannot bring power wheelchairs to any animal area because they have the potential to hurt our residents. Manual wheelchairs are allowed in some walls.
Please note that the shadow and seating areas are limited while in the tour. In the shelter area, the road is used by fields and is largely comprised of compact dirt and gravel. When dry and dust is contaminated, the path can slip. There is a standing grade in the short sections of the tourpath. Although the tour itself includes a rigorous surface, the animal walls may include grass areas and uneven regions.
During the winter months, please wear shoes and winter costumes that will keep you warm because we will stay out for an hour. Please note that there may be snow and snow on the tour route.
